Plastics extruder Reschcor Inc. is building an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bristol, Ind., just nine miles away from its current location, to accommodate business growth and its work force of 80 employees.
The privately held company makes custom profiles up to 24-inches wide as well as rigid and flexible tubing up to 8 inches for a variety of markets ranging from agricultural to lighting to windows.
The business has outgrown the capacity of its current 51,000-square foot plant in Elkhart, Ind., according to President Tom Reschly, who said he has been looking at relocating for about four years.
“The biggest thing about building from the ground up is that we can maximize efficiency with our work-flow layout,” Reschly said in a telephone interview. “We’ll get our lines laid. |
