Auto supplier All-Rite Industries Inc. recently added two 240-ton Engel injection molding presses to its operation.

Automotive supplier All-Rite Industries Inc. has added two new injection molding machines to its operations.

All-Rite recently took on two new auto programs consisting of more than 20 different parts, and brought in the pair of Engel victory spex machines, each with 240 tons of clamping force, to meet increased capacity demands.

“We took on some new business, new model-year vehicles, and we needed some new equipment to run the jobs,” plant manager Tony Baldassone told Plastics News.

The company operates a total of 15 machines including the new Engels, ranging from 55 to 400 tons of clamping force. The new machines also come with power conservation technology to help save on energy costs.

“There’s a lot of good features behind it,” Baldassone said. “We’re pretty much all Engels now, that’s all we run.”

All-Rite operates a 40,000-square-foot injection molding facility in Lake Zurich, Ill., with a second 45,000-square-foot facility for computer numerically controlled wire forming, robotic MIG and resistance welding, shipping, warehousing and administrative offices. The company employs about 70.
