Montreal-based CyFrame International Enterprises is marketing its enterprise reporting systems as a survival guide for plastic processors as their Baby Boomer workforce enters retirement.

“For decades, the retirement of the ‘Baby Boomer’ generation has been a looming economic threat. Now it’s no longer looming -- it’s here,” CyFrame warns in its promotional literature. “Every month, more than a quarter-million North Americans turn 65.

CyFrame said about 17 percent of boomers report they are retired, up from 10 percent in 2010.

ERP systems can set in place systems to monitor results during this transition period, CyFrame said.
