Food packaging major Anchor Packaging Inc. reported a fatality at its Paragould, Ark., facility.

Anchor said March 24 that Lori Turner died as a result of an unspecified incident the evening of March 23.

“We have notified, and are cooperating fully with, all authorities, including (Occupational Safety and Health Administration),” the St. Louis, Mo., company stated in a brief announcement.

Anchor thermoforms and does film extrusion in Paragould. The firm did not indicate which type of operation related to the fatality. In total, Anchor’s thermoforming operations in North America logged sales of $242 million in 2013, making it the eighth largest thermoformer in the market in that year. Total sales were $360 million.
