Plastics recycling assets in Toronto will be auctioned off March 6.

The assets, located on Atwell Drive, are surplus to the needs of DMX Plastics Ltd., a Brampton, Ontario, producer of ground-water control polyethylene sheet products. DMX has been using recycled plastics to make moisture-control sheet for commercial and residential applications. It will continue to make specialty sheet for moisture control.

For sale are a 3,300-pounds-per-hour washing and grinding line, Herbold granulator, float tank, centrifuges and dewatering systems, blender, pulverizer, water treatment system, shredders and silos. Infinity Asset Solutions of Concord, Ontario, will handle the auction.

DMX officials declined comment on the sale.
